A bi-directional link is a connection between two pages so you can browse in both directions. Unlike traditional hyperlink which is one-way link. It establishes a backlink in notes - a return link to go back to the place on the page you referenced. A doorway to browse forward or in reverse. This is the only reason I use Obsidian.
